Will your products do anything potentially harmful to the network?
No – they read from the network in a similar fashion to that of a web browser. Whilst at a technical level they are nothing like a web browser, the similarity is that it makes requests of the target computers, to which they respond. If they do not respond they are ignored. Also the browser based versions are WPF xbap applications and are restricted my the Microsoft “Sand Boxing” idiology.
